Photographs
I have three methods of taking photographs:
- I can steal my roommate's 3.2 Meg digital camera and snap off 78 pictures per memory card. This is the most common option, as I am usually taking pictures that I want with plenty of detail, and I plan to upload them to my computer.
- I can get out my Cannon point-and-shoot camera and fire off a few shots. This is nice for trips and such, because I can get easy, fun pictures of candid moments, the batteries last longer than the digital camera, and I don't have to fight with the printer to get good prints.
- I can get out my Pentax K-100 SLR camera, select a lens, and take some really fine quality, artistic photographs. This is especially nice for black-and-white photography, and eventually I hope to build my own dark room.
Both the Cannon and the Pentax are slow, since I take forever to remember to get the film developed. As you may gather, most of the photos listed here are from the digital camera.
Note: the galleries are optimized for 1024x768 viewing, and I reccomend 16-bit color or better.
